Quotes

SEASON ONE(1993-1994)

PILOT

Mulder: Nobody down here but the F.B.I most unwanted

Mulder: Oh, isn't it nice to be so highly regarded. So, who

did you tick off to get stuck with this detail,*Scully*?

Scully: Actually, I've heard a lot about you. I'm looking

forward to working with you.

Mulder: Really? I was under the impression that you were sent

to spy on me.

Mulder: Do you believe in the existence of *extraterrestrials*?

Scully: The answers are there, you just have to know where to

look.

Mulder: That's why they put the I in FBI

Scully: Who is it?

Mulder: Steven Spielberg.

Scully: You're saying that time disappeared? Time can't just

disappear. It's a universal invariant.

Mulder: Not in this zip code.

Mulder: I'm not crazy Scully, I have the same doubts you do.

DEEP THROAT

Mulder: Hey. Can I buy you a drink?

Scully: Its two o'clock in the afternoon agent Mulder.

Mulder: Its not stopping the rest of these people.

Scully: Mulder, did you see their eyes? If I were that stoned--

Mulder: Oooh! If you were that stoned, what?

Mulder: Tell me I'm crazy

Scully: Mulder, your crazy.

Squeeze

Scully: You seemed a little territorial. I don't know--forget it.

Mulder: [plays with her necklace] Of course I was.

The Jersey Devil

Ellen: What about that guy you work with? You said he was cute.

Scully: Mulder? He's a jerk. He's not a jerk, he's. . .obsessed with his work.

Fallen Angel

Mulder: [smiling] The *enigmatic* Dr. Scully.

Shadows

Mulder: Paramedics check you out?

Scully: Yeah, I'm fine... but I do have a

standing-in-line-at-the-DMV sized headache.

Ghost in The Machine

Scully: How come you two went your separate ways?

Mulder:I’m a pain in the ass to work with.

Scully: Seriously.

Mulder: I’m not a pain in the ass? We had different

career goals. Jerry wanted the fifth floor.

Scully: And you?

Mulder: I was gunning for a basement office with no heat

or windows.

Fire

Mulder: I was merely extending her a professional courtesy.

Scully: Oh, is that what you were extending?

Ice

Mulder: I would have but you pulled a gun on me.

Now I don’t trust them. I want to trust you

Beyond The Sea

Scully: Last time you were that engrossed it turned out you were eating the Adult Video News.

Scully: You set us up. . .This was a trap for Mulder because he helped put you away. Well, I came here to tell you that if

he dies because of what you've done, four days from now nobody will stop me from being the one that'll throw the switch and gas you out of this life for good, you_____*

Genderbender

Mulder: I know what I saw, Scully. And I saw you about to do the wild thing with some stranger.

Scully:There's something up there Mulder...

Mulder:Ooh, I've been saying that for years!

Lazarus

Mulder: [on phone] Dana, are you all right? Dana!

Mulder: If you lay one hand on her, so help me God, I'll--

MULDER: And for those of you ---who don’t know already (voice unsteady) this one’s important to me. So, uh, let’s do it right. Thanks.

E.B.E

Mulder: [to Scully] I think it's remotely plausible that someone might think you're hot.

Tooms

Mulder: No, you'd be in trouble just sitting in this car. And I'd hate to see you carry an official reprimand in your career file because of me.

Scully: Fox--

Mulder: I--I even made my parents call me Mulder. . .Mulder.

Scully: Mulder, I wouldn't put myself on the line for anybody but you.

Mulder: If there's an iced tea in that bag, could be love.

Scully: Must be fate Mulder--rootbeer.

Roland

Mulder: How was the wedding?

Scully: You mean the part where the groom passed out or the dog bit the drummer?

Mulder: Did you catch the bouquet?

Scully: Maybe.

SEASON Two

(1994-1995)

Little Green Men

Mulder: Before I could only trust myself. Now I can only trust you.

Mulder: I still have my work. I still have you. And I still have myself.

The Host

Mulder: Don't you get it, Scully? They don't want us working together, and right now that's the only reason I can think of to stay.

Mulder: How big can this thing get?

Scully: Mulder, I. . .(smiles) sorry, it felt like old times there for a second.

Scully: And Mulder, when you see Skinner to hand in your field report, I know that it's your decision, but I hope that you know that I'd consider it more than a professional loss if you decided to leave.

One Breath

Mulder : Cancerman! he is responsible for what happened to Scully! Who is he!?

Skinner: He's not here.

Mulder : You can have it all, my badge, the X-Files, just tell me where he is!

Mulder: (to a comatose Scully) I don't know if my being here will bring you back, but I'm here. (He holds her hand and stays the night)

Scully: Not Fox...Mulder

Mulder: I brought you something. . ."Superstars of the Superbowls."

Scully: I knew there was a reason to live.

Scully: I had the strength of your beliefs.

Firewalker

Mulder: Scully, I don't think it's a good idea for you to go.

Scully: Mulder, I appreciate your concern, but I'm ready. I want to work.

Mulder: Well, maybe you should take some time off.

Scully: I've already lost too much time.

Scully: Would you at least let me go with you?

Mulder: No

Scully: Look I know what your thinking, but I'm back and I'm not going anywhere.

Mulder: I have a colleague, friend, whose with O'Neil right now, let me go to her.

Trepcose: I can't let you leave

Mulder: Then you're going to have to shoot, because I am walking out of here

Irresistible

Mulder (to Scully): I don't want you to think you have to hide anything from me.

Scully (to counsellor): I trust him [Mulder] as much as anyone. I trust him with my life.

(on phone)

Mulder: Look, I know this is a pretty horrific case, but--

Scully: I'm okay with it, Mulder. Anyway, you could use my help.

Mulder: Always.

Mulder: People videotape police beatings on dark streets. They see Elvis in three cities across America every day. But no one saw a pretty woman being run off the road in her rental car.

Soft Light

Mulder: Hey Scully, can you spare a prophylactic?

Our Town

Scully: I just came up with a pretty sick theory, Mulder.

Mulder: (with a grin) Oooh, I'm listening.

Mulder: Are you hurt?

Scully: I'm okay

End Game

Email From Mulder

Scully- when you get this message I will be to far away for you to stop me, but where I'm going I cannot allow you to follow. I won't let you jeopardize your life and your career for reasons personal to me. You were right, Scully- you said a line has to be drawn somewhere. I'm drawing it for you here. I'll contact you when I get can...

Anasazi

Mulder: You've taken a big risk.

Scully: I was certain they would have killed you.

Mulder: Thank you. Thank you for taking care of me.

SEASON Three (1995-1996)

The Blessing Way

Mulder: (to Scully in a dream) I've come back from the dead to continue with you.

Paper Clip

Scully: I went to your father's funeral. I told your mother

that you'd be okay.

Mulder: How did you know?

Scully: I just knew.

Revelations

Mulder: (to Scully) You never draw my bath.

War Of The Coprophages

(over phone)

Scully: . . .the existence of extra-terrestrial life is not only

astronomically improbable, but at its most basic level, down right

anti-Darwinian.

Mulder: Scully, what are you wearing?

(over phone)

Scully: Did he give you any idea of how to catch them?

Mulder: No, but she did tell me everything else there is to

know about insects.

Scully: SHE??

(over the phone)

Scully: I'm not gonna ask you if you just said what I think you just what I think you just said because I know its what you just said.

Syzygy

Scully (smoking, pacing room in jealousy, whining): Det. White could use our help. She's just trying to solve this case. Det. White

Mulder: Would you let me drive.

Scully: I'm driving. Why do you always have to drive? Because your the

man? Because Your the big macho man?

Mulder: No I was just never sure your little feet would reach

the petals!

Piper Maru

Scully (to Mulder): I'm just constantly amazed by you. I. . .

you're working down here in the basement sifting through files

and transmissions that any other agent would just throw away in

the garbage.

Mulder: Well, that's why I'm in the basement, Scully.

Scully: You're in the basement because they're afraid of you. . .

of your relentlessness and because they know they could drop you

in the middle of the desert and tell you the truth is out there

and you'd ask them for a shovel.

Mulder: That's what you think of me?

Scully: Well, maybe not a shovel. Maybe a back hoe.

Scully: It's a North American P-51 Mustang.

Navy Investigator: Yeah, it sure is.

Mulder: I just got very turned on.

Pusher

Modell (over phone to Mulder and Scully): Are you two just going to sit there all night?

Modell (over phone to Mulder and Scully): You and your pretty partner seem really close. Do you work well together?

Mulder: (to scully, threw a monitor) he whispers: I love you

Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose

Scully: I cant take you anywhere!

Mulder: Get this, Scully--the lab analysis from the first bit of

fiber we found just came back. . .it's lace.

Scully: Chantilly lace?

Mulder: You know what I like.

Hell Money

Scully: Do you know how much the human body is worth?

Mulder: Depends on the body. (Looks her up and down)

Jose Chung's From Outer Space

Scully: I was surprised to find Mulder asleep in my room.

Quagmire

Scully: You're so consumed by your personal vengeance against life

whether it be its inherent cruelties or mysteries that everything

takes on a warped significance to fit your megalomaniacal

cosmology.

Mulder: Are you coming on to me, Scully?

Dr. Faraday (after encountering Mulder & Scully stranded alone on a rock in a lake):

Hope I'm not interrupting anything.

Wetwired

Scully: It's not the truth, Mom. He's lied to me from the

beginning. He never trusted me.

Mulder: Scully, you are the only one I trust.

SEASON FOUR (1996-1997)

Home

Scully: I guess I was just projecting on myself.

Mulder: Why? Is there a history of genetic abnormalities in your family?

Scully: No.

Mulder: Well just find yourself a man with a spotless genetic

makeup and a really high tolerance for being second-guessed and

start pumping out the little uber-Scully's.

[he rubs her back and smiles]

Scully: What about your family?

Mulder: [tilts his head suggestively] Hmm?

Scully: [similar suggestive head tilt]

Mulder: Well aside from the need for corrective lenses and the

tendency to be abducted by extra-terrestrials involved in an

international governmental conspiracy, the Mulder family passes

genetic muster.

Scully: [smiles]

Scully: Now we all have a natural instinct to propagate.

Mulder: Do we?

Mulder: Scully. . .I just never saw you as a mother before.

Scully: Night, Mulder.

Mulder: Night, Mom.

Mulder: [in pigsty] Scully, would you think of me as less of a man if I told you I was kind of excited right now?

Scully: Mulder, if you had to do without a cellphone for two minutes, you'd lapse into catatonic schizophrenia

The Field Where I Died

Mulder: Dana, if um, early in the four years we've been working

together an event occurred that suggested or somebody told you that

we'd been friends together--in other lifetimes--always... would it

have changed some of the ways we've looked at one another?

Scully: Even if I knew for certain, I wouldn't change a day.

[she pauses]Well, except maybe that "Flukeman" thing. . .I could

have lived without that just fine.

Terma

Scully: Mulder. . .[hugs him]

Mulder: It's good to put my arms around you. Both of them.

Leonard Betts

Scully: [referring to decapitated head] It blinked at me.

Mulder: Blinked or winked?

Never Again

Mulder: All this because I. . .because I didn't get you a desk?

Scully: Not everything is about you, Mulder. This is my life.

Mulder: Yes, but it's my...

Memento Mori

Scully: [journal entry to Mulder]. . .I feel these words as if their meaning were weight being lifted from me. Knowing that you will read them and share my burden as I have come to trust no other. That you should know my heart, look into it, finding there the memory and experience that belong to you, that are you is a comfort to me now as I feel the tethers loose and

the prospects darken for the continuance of a journey that began not so long ago and which began again with a faith shaken and strengthened by your convictions if not for which I might never have been so strong now as I cross to face you and look at you incomplete, hoping that you will forgive me for not making the rest of the journey with you.

Scully: [journal entry to Mulder] Mulder, I hope that in these terms you might know it and know me. And if the darkness should have swallowed me as you read this, you must never think there was the possibility of some secret intervention- something you might have done. And though we've traveled far together, this last distance must necessarily be travelled alone.

Scully: [journal entry to Mulder]. . . Mulder, I feel you close though I know you are out pursuing your own path. For that, I am gratefulmore than I can ever express. I need to know you're out there if I am ever to see through this.

Mulder: The truth will save you, Scully. I think it'll save both of us.

Tempus Fugit

Mulder [singing]: Happy Birthday dear Special Agent Dana Katherine Scully, Happy Birthday to You. . .I didn't know it was your birthday, Scully. [keeps clapping]

Scully: Mulder, you've never remembered my birthday in the four years I've known you.

Mulder: That's the way I like to celebrate. It's every four years, like dog years.

Scully: Dog years? Thank you.

Mulder: [smiling] You're welcome. Oh, I got something for you.

Scully: You've got to be kidding me.

Mulder: It's just something that reminded me of you.

Scully: What, an alien implant?

Mulder: Two, actually. I made them into earrings. [gives her keychain]

Scully: Apollo 11.

Mulder: [smiling] Read the back.

Scully: Commemorating Apollo 11 and the mission to the moon, July 1969. I'm touched.

Mulder: It's um. . .

Sharon Graffia: Excuse me, are you Scully and Mulder?

Scully: Oh, promise me this isn't leading into something really embarrassing.

Scully: You sure know how to make a girl feel special on her birthday.

Small Potatoes

Mulder: Hey Scully, should we be picking out china patterns or what?

Mulder: Birds do it, bees do it, even educated M.D.s do it.

Mulder: But I'm no Eddy Van Blundt

Elegy

Scully: I guess I never realized how much I relied on him before this...his passion. He's been a great source of strength that I've drawn on.

Mulder: I know what you're afraid of. I'm afraid of the same thing.

SEASON FIVE (1997-1998)

Redux

Mulder [crying]: Did they give Agent Scully this disease? Did they do this to her because of me?

Mulder [to a startled undressing Scully]: Keep going, FBI woman.

Mulder: I will not allow this treason to prosper--not if they've done this to you.

Mulder [voice over]: In four years I have shared my partner's passionate search for the truth and if my part has been a deception, I have never seen her integrity waver or her honor compromised. But now I ask her to lie to the people lying to us--a dangerous lie to find the truth--to find the men who would be revealed at its enemy, as *our* enemy, as the enemy within.

Blevins: From all reports, your work on the X-Files brought you very close to Agent Mulder.

Mulder: I need to know who did this to Scully.

Kritschgau: What you can have, what you may find is so much more than that.

Mulder: What?

Kritschgau: What you want most desperately of all.

Mulder: The cure for Scully's cancer?

Kritschgau: [nods]

Elder: Without his partner, you may have underestimated his fragility.

Kritschgau: The body you found was so good, so believable, that only scientific examination would have proven fraud.

Mulder: Scully would have known.

Mulder [voice over]: The possibility of a cure for Scully somewhere inside these walls is my only hope. But if I might find it and somehow save her, the very existence of this cure would mean with certainty that I had believed in a lie from the start.

Redux II

Scully: Mulder, somebody's going to see you here.

Mulder: That's ok, I'm officially among the un-dead

Scully: What happened?

Mulder: I did not come here to talk about that.

Scully: Don't protect me, I need to know.

Mulder: Hey, Scully, how about those Yankees, huh?

Scully: Well then, you have to lay it on me. You have to tell them that I was the one who killed that man.

Mulder: I can't. . .I can't do that.

Scully: Yes you can. Mulder, if I can save you let me. Let me at least give some meaning to what's happened to me.

Mulder(to CSM): You murdered my father, you killed Scully's sister, and if Scully dies I will kill you. I don't care whose father you are, I will put you down.

Scully: Why did you come here if you'd already made up your mind?

Mulder: Because I knew you'd talk me out of it if I was making a mistake.

Scully: You'll be in my prayers.

Mulder: Have the father say a few hail Mulders for me, okay?

(Leans into give her a kiss)

Mulder: Scully's cancer's gone into remission.

Skinner: That's unbelievable news.

Mulder: It's the best news I could have ever heard.

Detour

Mulder: How do I say this without using any negative words, Scully?

Scully: You want me to tell them you're not going to make it to this years teamwork seminar.

Mulder: You see that? We don't need that conference. We have communication like that--unspoken. You know what I'm thinking.

Mulder: Who cut the cheese?

Scully: Since you won't be making it to the conference. . .

Mulder: Party!

Scully: However, I must remind you, this goes against the bureau's policy of

male and female agents consorting in the same motel room while on assignment.

Mulder: Try any of that Tailhook crap on me Scully, and I'll kick your ass.

Scully: Sometimes I think some work on your communication skills wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Mulder: I'll be back soon, and we can build a tower of furniture.

Mulder: I was told once that the best way to regenerate body heat is to crawl naked into a sleeping bag with somebody else who was already naked.

Scully: Maybe if it rains sleeping bags you'll get lucky.

Mulder: Go, girl.

Mulder: One of us has got to stay awake, Scully.

Scully: You sleep Mulder.

Mulder: If you get tired, you wake me.

Scully: I'm not going to get tired.

Mulder: Why don't you sing something?

Scully: No, Mulder.

Mulder: Sing something so I know you're awake.

Scully: You don't want me to sing Mulder. I can't carry a tune.

Mulder: It doesn't matter--just sing anything.

Scully: Jeremiah was a bullfrog, was a good friend of mine. I never understood a single word he said, but I helped him drink his wine.

Mulder: Chorus.

Scully: Joy to the world. . .

Christmas Carol

Melissa: You don't know who you're going to meet when you join the FBI.

Emily

Mulder: I should have declined if I never want to see you hurt or harmed in any way.

Mulder: Dana has known for quite some time that she can't bear children. She hasn't known why. Now however that happened the fact that she can adopt this child, her own flesh and blood, is something I don't feel I have the right to question and I don't believe anybody has the right to stand in the way of.

Scully: Why didn't you tell me, Mulder?

Mulder: I never expected this. I thought I was protecting you.

Mulder: But that you found her and had a chance to love her, maybe she was meant for that too.

Scully: She found me.

Mulder: So you could save her.

Kitsunegari

Linda Bowman: Why wait when it's true love. You never know how long you have.

Mulder: No, you don't.

Scully [appearing as Linda Bowman]: She wants you to shoot me. She knows you'll never forgive yourself.

Schizogeny

Mulder: Hey Scully, is this demonstration of boyish agility turning you on at all?

Chinga

[over phone]

Mulder: It sounds to me like that's witchcraft or maybe sorcery that you're

looking for there.

Scully: No, I don't think it's witchcraft, Mulder, or sorcery. I've had a look around and I don't see any evidence of anything that warrants that kind of suspicion.

Mulder: Maybe you don't know what you're looking for.

Scully: Like evidence of conjury or the black arts, or shamanism, divination, wicca or any kind of pagan or neo-pagan practices. Charms, cards, familiars, bloodstones, or hex signs or any kind of ritual tableau associated with the occult, santeria, voudoun, macumba, or any high or low magic.

Mulder: Scully?

Scully: Yes?

Mulder: Marry me.

Mulder: Hey, morning, sunshine.

Scully: Mulder?

Mulder: Yeah. I was a little worried about you.

Bad Blood

Mulder: Come on, Scully, get those little legs moving.

Sheriff Hartwell: You really know your stuff, Dana.

Mulder: Dana?! He never even knew your first name.

Scully: You going to interrupt me or what?

Mulder: No, go ahead. Dana.

Mulder: Who's the black private dick who's a sex machine with all the chicks? SHAFT! Can you dig it? They say their cat shaft is a bad mother SHUT YOUR MOUTH! Talkin' 'bout shaft.

Mulder: I did not!

The Red and the Black

Scully: What time is it?

Mulder: What time is it? It's time to thank your lucky stars.

Scully: Why are you laughing?

Mulder: I'm not laughing at you. I'm just very happy to be standing here talking to you, that's all.

Scully: [to Mulder] You've been here all along?

Folie A Deux

Mulder: You have to be willing to see.

Scully: I wish it were that simple.

Mulder: Scully, you have to believe me. Nobody else on this whole damn planet ever will. You're my one in 5 billion.

The End

Gibson: He's thinking about one of the girls he brought.

Diana: Which one?

Gibson: He doesn't want me to say.

Gibson: You're wondering aren't you?

Scully: About what? About you?

Gibson: About that other girl. She's wondering about you, too.

Diana: I sense you could have used an ally, though. Someone who thinks like you, with some background.

Mulder: Oh, you mean Scully.

Diana: She's not what I'd call an open mind on the subject.

Mulder: She's a scientist. She just makes me work for everything.

Diana: Yes, but I'm sure there were times when two like minds on a case would have been advantageous.

Mulder: I've done okay without you.

Gibson: [to Scully] You don't care what people think. Except for her. The other one.

X-Files: Fight the Future

Mulder: (to scully) "You've saved me Scully. As difficult and frustrating as its been sometimes your strict rationalism and science has saved me a thousand times over. You've kept me honest. You made me a whole person. I owe you everything, and Scully you owe me nothing. I don’t know if I want to do this alone. I don’t know if I can. But if I quit now they win.

SEASON Six(1998-1999)

The Beginning

Scully: It comes down to a matter of trust. I guess it always has.

Mulder: Are you asking me to make a choice?

Scully: I'm asking you to trust my judgment. To trust me.

Triangle

1939Scully: So, if I don't turn this ship around--

Mulder: In all likelihood, I won't exist. And neither will you. So in case we never meet again--[they kiss]

Mulder: [to Scully] I would've never seen you again. But you believed me.

Mulder: Hey Scully.

Scully: Yes?

Mulder: I love you.

Scully: Oh brother.

Dreamland I

Scully: Mulder, it's the dim hope of finding that proof that's kept us in this car, or one very much like it, for more nights than I care to remember. Driving hundreds if not thousands of miles through neighborhoods and cities and towns where people are raising families and buying homes and playing with their kids and their dogs, and in short living their lives. While we, we, we just keep driving.

Mulder: What is your point?

Scully: Don't you ever just want to stop? Get out of the damn car, settle down and live something approaching a normal life?

Mulder: This is normal.

Dreamland II

Scully: [to Mulder in Morris' body] I'd kiss you if you weren't so damn ugly.

Morris: [reacting to Mulder and Scully's staring fest] Take a picture; it'll last longer.

How the Ghost Stole Christmas

Scully: Not that my only joy in life is proving you wrong.

Mulder: When have you proved me wrong?

Scully: Well, why else would you want me out there with you?

Mulder: You didn't want to be there? Well, that's self-righteous and narcissistic of me to say, isn't it?

Scully: No, I mean. . .maybe I did want to be out there with you.

Mulder: I know we said we weren't going to exchange gifts, but I got you a little something.

Scully: Mulder!

Mulder: Merry Christmas.

Scully: Well, I got you a little something, too

Rain King

Kroner Mayor: If I had known you was bringing the missus with you, I'd have arranged for fancier accommodations.

Motel Maid: Miss, I moved your boyfriend's things into your room.

[over phone]

Scully: Mulder, when is the last time you went on a date?

Mulder: I will talk to you later. [hangs up]

Scully: Blind leading the blind.

Holman: You spend every day with Agent Scully, a beautiful, enchanting woman. You two have never--? I confess I find that shocking. I've seen how you two gaze at one another.

Mulder: This is about you, Holman. I'm here to help you. I'm perfectly happy with my friendship with Agent Scully.

Mulder: I do not gaze at Scully.

Sheila: You love him, don't you?

Scully: What?

Sheila: You're jealous Agent Mulder and I have a special connection, and you're trying to divert me to Holman.

Scully: What?!

Sheila: Not even a kiss?

Scully: [shakes her head]

Sheila: I just never thought of Holman that way, you know. He's my closest friend, and to not even suspect--

Scully: Well, it seems to me that the best relationships, the ones that last, are frequently the ones that are rooted in friendship. You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before, like a switch has been flicked somewhere, and the person who was just a friend, is suddenly the only person you can ever imagine yourself with.

Mulder: [regarding Holman's revelation of love to Sheila] So, how'd it go?

Holman: You should try it sometime.

Tithonus

Mulder: [to Scully, over phone] My name is Fox Mulder--we used to sit next to each other at the FBI.

Two Fathers

Mulder: [to Scully] Hey homegirl, word up.

Mulder: Scully, you want to go one on one?

Arcadia

Mulder: Wow. Take a look at this. Honey, what do you think? Is this place us or what?

Mulder: I'm Rob, and this is my lovely wife, Laura.

Mulder: I work mostly at home, which is great for Laura, because she gets me all to herself.

Mulder: Hey, wait a minute, you didn't let me carry you over the threshold.

Scully: You ready?

Mulder: Let's get it on, honey.

Scully: All right, then.

Mulder: Want to make that honeymoon video now?

Mulder: Wow. Admit it: You just want to play house.

Mulder: Woman, get back in here and make me a sandwich.

Scully: [tosses rubber gloves in his face]

Mulder: Did I not make myself clear?

Win: So how was your first night? Peaceful?

Mulder: Oh it was wonderful. We just spooned up and fell asleep like little baby cats. Isn't that right, Honeybunch?

Scully: That's right, Poopyhead.

Win: So, where'd you two meet?

Mulder: Actually, it was at a UFO conference.

Win: Flying saucers. Interesting. Wouldn't have thought you folks would have been into that.

Mulder: Well, it's not me so much as Laura, she's quite the new ager. I mean, she's into those magnetic bracelets, and crystals and mood rings, what have you. God bless her, she's a sucker for all that stuff.

Cami: I wouldn't have guessed that, would you?

Scully: No kidding.

Mulder: [patting bed] Come on, Laura, we're married now.

Scully: Scully, Mulder. Good night.

Mulder: The thrill is gone.

Trevor

Scully: Spontaneous human combustion.

Mulder: [grinning] Scully. . .

Scully: Well, isn't that where you were going with this?

Mulder: Dear Diary, today my heart leapt when Agent Scully suggested spontaneous

human combustion.

Scully: Mulder, there are one or two somewhat well-documented cases.

Mulder: [nodding]

Scully: Mulder, shut up.

Milagro

Scully: My life's not so lonely. It's actually anything but.

Padgett: In my book I'd written that Agent Scully falls in love, but that's obviously impossible. Agent Scully is already in love.

Padgett: I misjudged her character--her interest in me.

Naciamento: Now we're onto something.

Padgett: She's only trying to get his attention, but doesn't know it.

Nacimento: Mmmm, the old unconscious at work.

The Unnatural

Scully: I don't care. Mulder this is a needle in a haystack. These poor souls have been dead for 50 years. Let them rest in piece. Let sleeping dogs lie.

Mulder: Well, I won’t sit idly by as you hurl cliches at me. Preparation is the father of inspiration.

Scully: Necessity is the mother of invention.

Mulder: The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.

Scully: Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we may die.

Mulder: I scream, you scream, we all scream for non-fat tofutti rice dreamsicle.

Scully: No! Mulder!

Mulder: You've never hit a baseball have you Scully.

Scully: No. I guess I have found more necessary things to do with my time than slap a piece of horsehide with a stick.

Mulder: Get over here Scully.

Scully: Is this my birthday present Mulder? You shouldn't have.

Mulder: This ain't cheap. I'm paying that kid $10 an hour to shag balls. Hey, it's not a bad piece of ash huh? {Scully gives Mulder a look} The bat. I'm talking about the bat.

Mulder: Now don't strangle it, you just wanna shake hands with it. Hello Mr. Bat it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Oh no, no Ms. Scully, the pleasure is all mine. Okay, now we want to go hips before hands okay, and we want to stride forward and turn, that's all we're thinking about. Okay, so we go hips before hands. One more time, hips before hands. Alright? What is it?

Scully: Hips before hands.

Scully: I'm in the middle.

Mulder: Alright, fire away poor-boy.

Mulder: That's good. Alright, what you may find is that you're concentrating on hitting that little ball, the rest of the world just fades away. All your everyday nagging concerns, the ticking of your biological clock, how you probably couldn't afford that nice new suede coat on a G-woman’s salary. How you threw away a promising career in medicine to hunt aliens with your crackpot, albeit brilliant, partner. Getting to the heart of a global conspiracy, you're obscenely overdue triple x-bill. Oh, I'm sorry Scully, those last two problems were mine, not yours.

Scully: Shut up Mulder. I'm playing baseball.

SEASON SEVEN (1999-2000)

Sixth Extinction

Mulder: No doctors, get me Scully

Scully: "Mulder, it's me. I know that you can hear me. If you could just give me some sign...I want you to know where I've been, what I've found. I think that if you know, that you could find a way to hold on. I need you to hold on.

I found a key. THE key. To every question that has ever been asked. It's a puzzle, but the pieces are there for us to put together. And I know that they can save you if you can just hold on. Mulder. Please. Hold on."

Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati

Scully: I don't know what to believe anymore. Mulder, I was so

determined to find a cure to save you that I could deny what it

was that I saw. And now I don't even know. . .I don't know. . .I

don't know what the truth is, I don't know who to listen to, I

don't know who to trust. Diana Fowley was found murdered this

morning. I never trusted her. But she helped save your life just

as much as I did. She gave me that book. It was her key that led

me to you. I'm sorry. . .I'm so sorry. I know she was your friend.

Mulder: Scully, I was like you once--I didn't know who to trust.

Then I chose another path, another life, another fate where I

found my sister. The end of my world was unrecognizable and

upside-down. There was one thing that remained the same. You. . .

were my friend and you told me the truth. Even when the world was

falling apart, you were my constant, my touchstone.

Scully: And you are mine.

Millennium

[after kissing for the first time]

Mulder: The world didn't end?

Scully: No, it didn't.

The Goldburg Variation

Scully: Yeah Mulder its me-what now? You're in Chicago? Yes I'm in Chicago-I'm at the Northeast corner of 7th and Hunter just like you asked. So where are you?

Mulder: Oh around...Hey Nice outfit.

Orison

Mulder: Go home, Scully.

Scully: I'm not bothered by this case.

M: Scully, the man abducted you. Donnie Pfaster did a number on your head like I've never seen. It's okay to walk away. Really. You got nothing to prove to me.

S: Mulder, this man does things to people no one should ever have to think about. It's not a question of if I should be here or not. I don't have a choice.

Amazing Maleeni

Maleeni: Good morning Mr and Mrs....

Mulder: Agents-Mulder and Scully. FBI.

Maleeni: You're not here for a home loan I take it.

Signs and Wonders

Scully: Snake-handling...I didn't learn that in catechism class.

Mulder: That's funny, I knew a couple of Catholic girls that were

experts at it.

X-Cops

Mulder: I don't think it's live television Scully, she just said ****

Scully: Mulder, there's a camera here! It's recording--it's

recording every word you say. You understand? I need to make sure

you're aware of that.

Mulder: of course I am aware of that

Scully: My point being, we're investigation a case-

Mulder: -- And this presents an opportunity. I feel we're very

close here. The possibility of capturing concrete proof of the

paranormal, of werewolves? Proof that would be witnessed by a

national, even international audience? What's not to love?

First Person Shooter

Scully: You think taking up weapons and creating gratuitous virtual mayhem has any redeeming value? That the testosterone frenzy it creates stops when the game does?

Mulder: Isn't that rather… sexist? I'm saying that the game is an outlet for certain impulses. Filling a void in our genetic makeup that the more civilizing effects of society fail to provide for.

Scully: Well, if women ran the world I can tell you we wouldn't have these kind of games.

Mulder: Women do run the world, Scully.

Theef

Scully: Well, that's certainly one question. I've got many

Mulder: "Mulder, why are we here?"

Scully: Well, to be fair, I might have used the words "Mulder, why is

this an X-File?

Mulder: You see that, Scully, you always keep me guessing.

Scully: Hexcraft, as in putting a curse in someone? Murdering them

magically?

Mulder: Yeah, that's what it looks like to me. Now I know what your

going to say Scully.

Scully: No, hexcraft. I'll buy that as the intent here. It certainly

jibes with the evidence.

:::confused Mulder:::

Scully: I'll always keep you guessing.

Mulder: Go ahead, Scully, keep me guessing.

Mulder: You do keep me guessing.

En Ami

CSM: How long did it take Mulder to win your trust?

Scully: I've always trusted Mulder.

CSM: You're not being honest with yourself. Think back. There was

a time when you feared for your future, for your career, when you

were first partnered with this man. I've told you, I've studied

you for years. And if you would permit me,I'd like to make an

observation. You're drawn to powerful men, but you fear their

power. You keep your guard up, a wall around your heart. How else

do you explain that fearless devotion to a man obsessed, and yet,

a life alone? You'd die for Mulder, but you won't allow yourself

to love him.

Scully: Wow, I'm learning a whole other side to you. You're not just a cold-

blooded killer, you're a pop psychologist as well.

Skinner: She says she's fine.

Mulder: She's in trouble.

Cimera

I dont know the exact words exchanged, hopefully soon I will but the only scene worth mentioning was:

When the sherif's wife asks Mulder if he has a significant other, and Mulder responds that he doesn't in the generally accepted definition

Hollywood AD

Federman: I'm just curious if she's more than your partner.

Mulder: Enough, Wayne.

Mulder: That is a very cool story coming from you, Scully.

Mulder: Crazy people can be very persuasive.

Scully: Well, yes, I know that.

Scully: Maybe true faith is really a form of insanity.

Mulder: Are you directing that at me

Scully: No!

Scully: How--

Mulder: 42.

Scully: You've seen this movie 42 times?

Mulder: Yes.

Scully: Doesn't that make you sad? It makes me sad.

Fight Club

Scully: Thats why they put the "I" in FBI.

Requiem

[holding each other, in bed]

Scully: Thank you.

Mulder: It's not worth it, Scully.

Scully: What?

Mulder: I want you to go home.

Scully: Mulder, I'm going to be fine

Mulder: No, no, I've been thinking about it. Looking at you today, holding

that baby, knowing everything that's been taken away from you. A

chance for motherhood, and your health, and that baby. I think

that. . .I don't know--maybe they're right.

Scully: Who's right?

Mulder: The FBI. Maybe what they say is true. Though for all the wrong

reasons, it's the personal costs that are too high. There's so much

more you need to do with your life. There's so much mroe than this.

There has to be an end, Scully.

Mulder: Scully, you have to understand--they're taking

abductees. You are an abductee. I'm not going to risk losing you.

Scully: I won't let you go alone.

Season Eight (2000 - 2001)

Without

Scully: I can't take the chance that I'm never going to see him again

Miscellaneous

some of these are only rumors...

Cut Scenes

Requiem

There is an MPEG file out somewhere on this scene...my source couldn't view

it but they could hear it so its as accurate as can be...

scene: outside the meeting room at the FBI where Mulder, Scully, Skinner,

TLG, Krycek, and Marita have gathered

Scully walks out into the hall, from what it sounded like, I know for a fact

she gets dizzy again. She kinds of lets out her breath in a whoosh and it

sounds like she grips that bench outside for support. Mulder comes out, and,

seeing Scully, quickly walks over to where she is sitting/kneeling/lying and

my guess is he hoists her up on the bench here. He then says:

Mulder: "I'm taking you to a doctor"

and kind of pulls her up onto her feet. But here it sounds like she stops

him and says

Scully: "Mulder, I'll go as soon as we're finished here. You need me here

right now."

Mulder: "Scully, you ARE finished here."

Scully: "What? "(a little choked up) "Mulder, what do you mean? You need help

on this case."

and then the regular dialogue starts up, the whole speal about "I don't want

to risk...losing you."

THEN, the good part. She says "Dammit, Mulder, I'm just as worried about

losing you as you are about losing me! Don't you realize that I go to bed

every night wondering if I'll have you as a partner for the next day?-

(This last part was paraphrased...it goes something like that but not exactly.

You get the general idea.)

-What you said about the personal risks, they're too great! Mulder, stop

worrying about me! (she tears up here) I don't know what I would do if I lost

you."

She might be crying at this point here. There's a sort of choking sound,

like a sob but she holds it back.

But the music starts up, similar to the music at the end of Amor Fati. Then,

since I can't see it, I hear them kissing. Unfortunately, it only lasts for

about seven seconds before ( assuming) Skinner, judging by the heavy

footsteps, comes out of the room to see if the two of them are ok.

The second clip, (someone says something at the beginning like

...."and....action") is just of them kissing. This is a blooper (no

swelling music). They do all the same things up until they kiss. You hear

them kissing and someone says "hey, cut!

What's wrong?" and Mitch Pileggi yells that the door is jambed.

If ANYONE has this clip...in a non zip file....send it my way...PLEASE!!!!

The Red and the Black

Scully was telling Mulder about her fears of not knowing what

really happened and afraid that she couldn't be protected--and he

said he would always protect her.

The script in "Drive" was somewhat altered. The original is

rumored to go as followed:

MULDER: ... But why only westward motion?

SCULLY: I don't know. Maybe it follows certain lines of force,

electrical or magnetic. Maybe... (under her breath) God, this

can't be me talking.

MULDER: I know, it's turning me on.

Arcadia

The original script, as I heard it, included something where their first night

he crawls into bed with her, and she's like "Mulder, what are you

doing"...and he makes up this off the wall excuse, like "What if

someone looks in the window, don't you think, they'd think it was

a little odd that I'm sleeping on the couch"....and he kind of

convinces her, and she's like "Ok, but JUST for tonight"......and

so he gets in the bed, and he kind of squishes up to her, and

cuddles up next to her, and she's goes "WHAT are you doing?" and

he;s like "Just in case someone looks in the window! We have to

make it look real!!"

David and Gillian Moments

Gillian's Birthday!

This from Marilyn Beck's/Liz Smith's column today -

"David Duchovny and wife Tea Leoni were in a Malibu shop looking

for birthday gift for his "X-Files" co-star Gillian Anderson.

They found one and were having it wrapped when in walked Anderson.

Duchovny halted the wrapping, and he and Leoni presented the gift

to a surprised Anderson with a "Happy Birthday!" ***

You remember those photo shoots with David and Gillian in the bed?

Of course you do! Well, during one of them it was reported that

Gillian says:

"It was fun. I sat up and talked with David, and I didn't even

realize I was half naked." (yeah right...)

The End Clip of Fight the Future

Gillian: "It was really close, wasn't it? I mean, it was, like, a

millimeter away. It was pretty good. And it was up to me to do the

moment where I broke it. It was fun to, like, play with how long

we could actually make it last before we actually touched."

Announcer: "Now, better than the on-screen lip-lock, says Duchovny,

is the sizzling, top-secret scene that didn't make it into the

movie." David: "We did it. There was never written that we would

be kissing. We did it to our liking, and then we said, 'Let us do

one more.' And then, we did the take, and it was bad, but we kept

going. And then I kind of pushed Gillian up against the wall, and

we acted like, uh- we were humping."

Chris Carter

"People say the show is a very, very dark show, but the show

real- ultimately is about hope. It's about two romantic characters

looking for something. They're on a quest."

"Scully loves Mulder, and Mulder loves Scully. It's a wonderful

romance, it's just not a sexual romance. It's not a physical

romance. It is a caring, tender, respectful relationship. It's an

ideal, and I would never want to do anything to threaten it- to

change it."
